Public relations consultant offers a three month internship to a detail oriented intern. Compelling communicators, gifted writers, creative brainstormers and social media gurus who enjoy wine and food (discussing, researching, strategizing) are encouraged to apply.
Ideal candidate has experience at the following, or is eager to learn to;
• Research, develop and facilitate news stories and features.
• Write compelling press releases, media alerts and fact sheets.
• Create websites and assist in the creation of social media campaigns.
• Research media and develop media lists for press release distribution.
• Liaise daily with clients and media via telephone and e-mail.
• Monitor client and competitive media coverage.
• Schedule, plan and execute media dinners and press trips.
• Manage, maintain and develop databases.
Candidates must be punctual self-starters and confident at networking. Occasionally candidate will be required to work from home.
Monthly metro card and lunch provided. School credit available.
